Zhejiang Baling Hengyi Caprolactam Co., Ltd. is a large chemical company engaged in caprolactam production, sales and related businesses jointly established by Baling Branch of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation and Hengyi Petrochemical Co., Ltd. at a ratio of 50%:50%. The company is also the first joint venture established by Sinopec and domestic private enterprises to strengthen cooperation in the field of caprolactam. The company was established in October 2011 and is located in Linjiang Industrial Park, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou. The company adopts the second-generation caprolactam green environmental protection technology with independent intellectual property rights and international leading position of Sinopec to build an annual production of 200,000 tons caprolactam project. This project is one of the key projects of Sinopec and Hangzhou's “2+4” strategic cooperation. The main products are chemical raw materials such as caprolactam, cyclohexane, cyclohexanone, cyclohexanol, ammonium sulfate, and hydrogen peroxide. After the project is put into production, it will become one of the domestically competitive caprolactam production bases.
